Style Clonmel Presentation
Clonmel Chamber presented cheques for €5,500 each to Place 4 U and South Tipperary Hospice Movement earlier today. The Chamber through the Style Clonmel festival raised the funds last year. This year’s festival will run from October 7th to 17th.
Save the Hospital
The future of hospital services at South Tipperary General Hospital in Clonmel remains unclear at the moment. We at the Chamber believe that is imperative that the hospital should continue to function as normal and we are vigorously campaigning against the downgrading of South Tipperary General. This is an issue that affects all sections of the local community.
A public meeting will be held on Monday next, the 15th of February at the Clonmel Park Hotel at 8.30pm. The Save The Hospital Committee have invited all members of Clonmel Chamber to attend.
Doing Business in Canada
Our ‘Doing Business in Canada’ event will be held on March 11th at 6.15pm. Tickets for the event will be on sale through our website next week. The event offers local companies the opportunity to explore the possibility of developing their business with Canada and its NAFTA partners. It will also offer the chance for Clonmel businesses to source products from Canada. There has been significant interest thus far from local businesses in the tourism sector.
