June 24th Networking Event
Interest is building in our breakfast networking event scheduled for June 24th at 8am in Hotel Minella. Doctor Pat Lynch from WIT will deliver a brief presentation on how you can market your business in the current economy. Each attendee will have a fixed amount of time to talk about their business, there will also be ample opportunity for informal networking. Clonmel Chamber has decided to host this event at breakfast time in response to demand from members. Tickets can be purchased online by clicking the link below. Tickets for this event cost €10 for Clonmel Chamber members and €20 for non-members. A breakfast of tea, coffees and pastries will be served. Southern Tipperary Skillnet
Southern Tipperary Skillnet operated by Clonmel Chamber is an enterprise led training organisation. We can part fund training for your company through Southern Tipperary Skillnet. In the last two years we have provided training to over 200 local companies and are actively interested in speaking to new companies who have identified training needs.

Clonmel Chamber Members Kentz Have Asked Us To Bring This To Members Attention

Magical Mid Summer Ball in aid of Haiti The Soul of Haiti in association with the Kentz Group in Clonmel is delighted to announce that they will be hosting a Magical Mid Summer Ball on Saturday, 19th June 2010. All funds raised will be used to rebuild the University of Quisqueya, in the Haitian capital Port-au-Prince. The University of Quisqueya’s new campus was inaugurated in December 2009 and subsequently destroyed completely by the earthquake on 12th January 2010. The university was home to 2,500 students of which over 60% were part of the business and engineering schools. Guest speaker on the night will be well known presenter and sports commentator Mr. George Hook who travelled to Haiti in March 2010. Kentz has been actively working in Haiti since February 2010 in association with Digicel. Construction of a number of temporary classrooms has already commenced, enabling local children to return to school as soon as possible. Kentz employ local tradesmen to carry out the building works and to date, have successfully rebuilt a number of classrooms to allow teaching to resume.
