Clonmel Chamber Summer BBQ

Clonmel Chamber is hosting a summer barbeque on Friday June 4th at Clonmel Rugby Club.  This event promises to be one of the leading social events in the business calendar this year.  It is an ideal event for companies to bring their staff and friends for an enjoyable evening.  Music is by Clonmel band “Force Ten” (70’s and 80’s music).  Raheen House will be providing the catering for the event and there will be a buckin’ bronco for the more adventurous.  Tickets are €25 and can be purchased from Clonmel Chamber, 8 Sarsfield Street or from any board member.  Doors open at 7pm and will run until late.

We hope to see you at Clonmel Rugby Club on June 4th.

This event is kindly sponsored by Bulmers.

Southern Tipperary Skillnet

Southern Tipperary Skillnet has been awarded a new contract to provide enterprise led training.  The organisation, operated by Clonmel Chamber, is regarded as one of the most successful networks in the country.

Network Manager Jackie Ryan was delighted with the decision.  “This is great news for us and local companies.   We provide enterprise led training to satisfy company needs.  Our ability to part fund training for companies has never been as relevant as it is now” she said.  President of the Chamber and Chair of the Skillnet Steering group, Tina Mulhearne also emphasised the availability of part funding for companies “the last two years we have worked with over two hundred companies, we are aiming to further expand this by providing training for more local companies”.

The Southern Tipperary Skillnet provides enterprise led training.  In short, it offers training based on the demands of companies.  Organisations with training needs should contact Southern Tipperary Skillnet at Clonmel Chamber on 052 61 26500 for an initial discussion.

As a result of this workshop there have been a number of requests for a day long sales workshop.  Further information will be available shortly.
