Haiti Earthquake
The devastation wreaked by the recent earthquake in Haiti has had an impact on so many people. The death toll is rising on a daily basis and there are a myriad of different problems presenting themselves daily. Aoife Tynan, proprietor of member business ‘Little Piggys’ in Market Place was in Haiti in 2009 with the Haven Partnership. Since the recent earthquake struck, Aoife has been fundraising for Haiti throughout counties Tipperary and Waterford. As part of her fundraising activities she will be selling raffle tickets in her own business and in Carri’s, O’Connell Street, Clonmel over the next week or so. The two main prizes are a signed Tipperary jersey and a weekend away. There will also be collection boxes in businesses throughout the town and ticket sellers will be in the town centre on Saturday.
Any support that you can give to this would be appreciated.
