Boost Your Sales –Expert Briefing

 

Earlier this year we carried out a survey of all Chamber members. As part of that survey we asked members what areas they would like us to increase our concentration on. The most popular answer, by far, was sales and business development training and seminars.

  

With that in mind Clonmel Chamber are hosting a sales workshop on Tuesday, May 11th at 6.15pm in the Clonmel Campus, Tipperary Institute, Inner Relief Road, Clonmel.

  

Over the course of sixty minutes the briefing will look at new ways of developing sales in the current economic climate and will also look at aspects of the sales process such as account development.

  

Charlie Mernagh, a well regarded sales trainer will present and there will be ample time afterwards for questions and answers.

  

As usual with Clonmel Chamber events there will be an opportunity to network over tea and coffee at the start of the evening.

  

Tickets for the briefing entitled "Boost Your Sales" cost €15 for Clonmel Chamber members and €25 for non members.

Annual General Meeting

 

The AGM of Clonmel Chamber was held at the Town Hall, Parnell Street, Clonmel on Thursday last.  Aidan Corcoran from Eirgrid spoke at the meeting about their plans for the region.  In all, Eirgrid plan to spend over €800 million on their plans for the South East and Midlands.

 

Seven new directors were appointed at the meeting.  The board has now been expanded to eighteen to better reflect the wide range of businesses in the area.

Annual Report & Strategic Plan

 

The annual report and strategic plan were both launched at the AGM.  Copies are currently being sent to all members and relevant bodies in the region.  If you would like an additional copy please contact Aisling Carey at Clonmel Chamber on 052 61 26500.

 

 

Discover Clonmel Brochure Submissions Sought

 

Clonmel Chamber is actively seeking submissions for the 2010 edition of their tourist brochure ‘Discover Clonmel’.  The publication will feature 52 pages of events, activities and accommodation listings from the Clonmel area.  ‘Discover Clonmel’ will be available in all tourist offices in Munster and the South East.  It will also be available in all major airports throughout Ireland.
