The National Enterprise Conference, hosted by Clonmel Chamber, has been described as ‘a resounding success’ by the organisers. The event, held of Friday last at the Clonmel Park Hotel, attracted a record attendance.
Ten speakers took to the stage at the conference to spell out their recipe for business success and the measures that must be taken to ensure that the country gets back on track. The speakers, including Brian Purcell from TV3’s The Apprentice, local entrepreneurs Ed O’Donnell from O’Donnell’s Crisps and Mike Keating from Metron Nanotech, Jerry Kennelly from Tweak.com and political consultant Andrea Pappin emphasised the benefits of new ways of approaching old issues.
“Two messages that stood out for me with almost every speaker were the importance of face to face networking and how Chambers can benefit businesses in Ireland.” said Chamber CEO Brian Cleary.
“An event such as this is a major undertaking and it would not be possible without the kind assistance of our sponsors” said Chamber president Tina Mulhearne.
The conference, sponsored by Abbott Vascular and Southern Tipperary Skillnet, is an annual event.
