Clonmel Chamber in association with the Office for the Promotion of Migrant Integration will hold a free breakfast seminar and networking event at the Clonmel Park Hotel on September 22nd . The event will focus on how companies throughout the south east of Ireland can better integrate migrants in to the workforce.
Irish people have vast experience of the challenges and opportunities that emigration and integration can present as we have been a nation of emigrants ourselves. Therefore, as a result of our own history, we understand emigration and the problems that emigrants can face. Uprooting your life, finding work, accessing services and building friendships in a new country can be a daunting experience.
This seminar aims to highlight to companies the steps that they can introduce to ensure that migrants are better integrated in to the workforce.
Our speaker, Jimmy Ryan from Diversiton, is a leading trainer on diversity issues. Diversiton have delivered equality and diversity training in Ireland and the U.K. for a number of years.
