Eleven local companies have received free advice and mentoring from the Small Business Advice service since it was launched in the county in April by Clonmel Chamber.
The service is a response to the challenges that the downturn has presented to SME’s. Companies can access a panel of experts across all disciplines that will advise and coach business owners on issues relating to their companies.
The uptake in Co. Tipperary is the fifth highest in the country. President of Clonmel Chamber, Tina Mulhearne, said that she was heartened to see that businesses were availing of the free service that the Chamber had introduced and that she had spoken with a number of business owners who credited Small Business Advice with giving their companies a new lease of life.
Companies seeking assistance should contact Brian Cleary at Clonmel Chamber or log on to www.smallbusinessadvice.ie
