Clonmel Chamber has been shortlisted for an Ulster Bank Business Achiever Award. The Chamber is one of three Munster organisations contesting the regional final on February 3rd. The local business group has been shortlisted in the Social Entrepreneurship category.
“To be shortlisted for such a prestigious award is extremely gratifying. It is a vindication of the hard work of our members and staff to make Clonmel a better place to live” said Chamber President, Tina Mulhearne.
Clonmel Chamber has been selected for the shortlist as a result of initiatives such as the Enterprise Competition, their free networking and training initiatives for members, their work in promoting local tourism and the lobbying that they carry out on behalf of local businesses.
The Munster final of the Ulster Bank Business Achiever Awards takes place in Limerick on February 3rd. The successful category winners will then proceed to contest the national finals in the Mansion House in Dublin where an overall winner will also be selected.
