Hotel Minella, Coleville Road, Clonmel
Tourism is one of the most important sectors in Irish business life. Hundreds of thousands of tourists visit Clonmel and South Tipperary annually to experience local heritage and hospitality amongst other things. Each year we should seek to improve the experience of visitors to our shops, bars, restaurants, hotels and other businesses.
Clonmel Chamber is hosting a free “Welcome to Clonmel” evening in association with Failte Ireland on Thursday February 24th at Hotel Minella, Coleville Road, Clonmel.
The aim of the seminar is to give staff and business owners the skills to meet and exceed the expectation of both international and domestic visitors. This event will enable front-line employees to acquire or re-affirm the core skills, knowledge and understanding that their role demands.
The “Welcome to .........” programme has been delivered in other locations and has received extremely positive feedback.
This is an excellent opportunity to avail of high quality customer service training free of charge, courtesy of Clonmel Chamber. The ninety minute seminar will focus on assessing the awareness of customer needs, increasing knowledge of the local area and tourist products and boosting confidence in providing customer service at a higher level.
If you would like to reserve places at this event please contact
Clonmel Chamber on 052 61 26500 or email
info@clonmelchamber.com with the names of those who wish to attend.
Again, this is a free event and refreshments will be served.
