The launch of an innovative enterprise competition will be the centrepiece of the National Enterprise Conference being held in Clonmel on Friday. One of the aims of the event, being staged by Clonmel Chamber, is to highlight Clonmel as a town that is ‘open for business’ and an ideal location for investment. The overall theme for the day is innovation and enterprise in a challenging economy.
Clonmel Chamber President Tina Mulhearne sees this event as an ideal opportunity for local businesses to meet their peers and to gain new insights. “Every business owner is currently looking at new ways of increasing revenue, managing costs and motivating staff. Our speakers have proven and documented experience of running companies that have adapted to the new reality and not only survived but thrived” she said. “As a business owner myself, I have found that at previous events I have been able to take away ideas that I could apply with my own company straight away” she added.
The event will also be the largest business networking event in Co. Tipperary this year and Clonmel Chamber are actively encouraging attendees to mix with delegates from around the country to explore new business opportunities.
The National Enterprise Conference takes place on Friday at the Hotel Minella, Coleville Road, Clonmel. For ticket information please contact Clonmel Chamber on 052 61 26500.
