Representatives of the main business groups in the county met last night in Cashel to formulate a unified response to issues affecting all businesses throughout South Tipperary.
Clonmel Chamber was joined by Cashel and Tipperary town Chambers along with the Cahir Business Association.
The meeting, chaired by Cashel Chamber President Sean Campion, focused on the issue of business rates and the need for the different organisations to work together to formulate a cohesive tourism strategy for South Tipperary businesses.
This was the first meeting in what is hoped will be a more co-operative approach amongst the groups.
