Article Added: 2010/04/16

Clonmel Chamber appointed seven new directors to their board at their AGM on Thursday last (April 15th). The new directors will join the re-elected directors. The organisation has expanded the executive board to better reflect the range of businesses locally and to reflect the growth in Chamber membership.

The new council members are: Don Davern (New Vision), John Dempsey (Sepam), Jim Kavanagh (Europlan), Aisling Kilroy (The Narrow Space), Anne Mordaunt (The Wardrobe), Conor Moroney (Moroney’s Footwear) and Anthony Sheehan (Stada).

As part of the restructuring of the board, long-time Chamber director and Past President Walter Heneghan will assume a new role. Mr. Heneghan will act as the representative of Past Chamber Presidents. He has served as a board member for twelve years and his appointment was welcomed with applause at the meeting in the Town Hall.

Tina Mulhearne, representing HR Direct, was returned unopposed as President for a second year.
