County Tipperary Skillnet is an enterprise led learning Network committed to the development and delivery of training at a subsidised rate through availing of government funding. It is our aim to source and provide training based on business training needs with up to 25% grant aid applied.
We are delighted to announce that we have received funding for 2012 to roll out training as County Tipperary Skillnet.
Skillnet networks focus on the essential skills required by local businesses to ensure competitiveness and deliver high quality, relevant training requested by them. To guarantee that the funded training delivered is beneficial to you and your staff we encourage you to identify your training needs and talk to the Network Manager.
As we are beginning to role out training for 2012 we would like you to contact us for any training requirements, also please take a minute to complete our training needs survey, link below.
Below is a list of upcoming training for 2012:
No: 1 Course: First Aid Refresher
Date: February 28
Time: 9.30am - 4.30pm (unless otherwise stated)
Venue: Hotel Minella, Coleville Road
Cost: €70 pp (max 10 attendees)
No 2: Course: FETAC First Aid (3 days)
Dates: March 6, 13 & 20
Time: 9.30am - 4.30pm (unless otherwise stated)
Venue: Hotel Minella, Coleville Road
Cost: €210 pp (max 10 attendees)
No 3: Course: RPL - FETAC Manual Handling Instructor
Dates: March 29 & 30 (1.5 days)
Time: 9.30am - 4.30pm
Venue: TBC
Cost: €230 pp (maximum 8 attendees)
*JOB SEEKERS* Enhance your skills through training with the County Tipperary Skillnet
If you are currently unemployed and fit the Skillnets definition of a job seeker (see link below), you may be eligible to attend training that is offered through the network with no charge or impact on your social welfare payments or benefits.
Through training with a Skillnet network, you will be able to access training that is directly relevant to industry needs but there is an added advantage of networking opportunities with companies and their employees.
