Clonmel Chamber is the largest business organisation in South Tipperary. We are actively involved in creating and maintaining a positive business environment in the area – one that enables organisations to develop more opportunities, generate additional revenue and create further employment locally.
Since 1902 we have worked on behalf of members to create a dynamic business environment. Today, whilst our mission remains the same, the range of services that we can offer to businesses has vastly increased.
Networking – Clonmel Chamber is the leading networking organisation in South Tipperary. We host dedicated networking events for members where they can come together to discuss areas of common interest and explore potential business relationships.
Education & Training – We regularly host education and training events for businesses in all sectors. Recently we facilitated customer service training, manufacturing excellence seminars and technology briefings.
Policy & Advocacy – Clonmel Chamber is the leading business voice in the area. We play an important role in the development of policies to aid businesses. We also represent members views to decision makers in local and national government. Membership of Clonmel Chamber allows companies the opportunity to play a role in the formulation of policy and the direction of Clonmel Chamber.
Events – We organise and manage a calendar full of events every year. These include our annual conference, networking events, golf classic, member only events exploring international markets, the annual ball and countless others. Members can attend these events for free or at a discounted rate.
Promoting Clonmel – We actively promote the town throughout the year. Also, we consistently promote our members to other members and the wider community through press releases, newsletters, ClonmelChamber.com and other channels.
Initiatives – Clonmel Chamber has been at the forefront of positive initiatives for the town. We engaged consultants to create the ‘Brand Clonmel’ identity that aims to establish the town as a leader in customer service and visitor experience. ‘Style Clonmel’ has been a hugely successful element of the branding strategy. We have also launched the ‘Discover Clonmel’ brochure and website to promote the area as a holiday destination. Clonmel Chamber has also managed the Southern Tipperary Skillnet that offers subsidised training to companies.
For over one hundred years members have come together to create a better business environment in the area. Collectively our members employ over ten thousand people locally.
