Clonmel has always had the business reputation as a vibrant and successful town and never more so is this needed in the economic climate of doing business today.
It is time that we seek to rejuvenate and promote our town’s image.
It is time that we seek to tell the rest of the nation our strengths, our difference. Clonmel must seek to promote itself beyond the borders of its’ county.
With this in mind, it is clear that Clonmel has a most serious need to raise its self image, public image and to increase both visitor numbers and more importantly commercial activity for the town as a whole. In order to address these issues, Clonmel Chamber and the business people of Clonmel in conjunction with retail guru Eddie Shanahan came together to comprehensively address this requirement.
Using our own volunteer resources, the hard work and inspiration of all those involved, we are all now working together in a manner never before undertaken on any such level in the history of the town.
The result of this all-encompassing collaboration is Brand Clonmel.
Brand Clonmel aim’s to develop Clonmel as a town with an identity, a town with much to offer and a town that is open for business. The brand and logo reflects the uniqueness, heritage and commercial differentiators that define Clonmel. This brand and logo will be highly visible both on a national level and a local county level.
In order to be strong and vibrant, we must work together. This is our town and our potential success, without positive and committed action, we will not benefit. The choice for your business is to be either in or out, to work as a business community or as an individual, to embrace the future or bemoan the past.
